For immediate placement, we are offering one position as Early Stage Researcher / Marie Curie PhD position The period of employment is for 3 years with the topic:
Integrated Strain Sensors from CVD Grown TMDC
The tentative start date is April 2021, though an earlier or later start is also possible. Salary conditions, travel/mobility allowances, and benefits will follow the attractive EU amounts for Early Stage Researchers in the H2020-MSCA-ITN-2020 call. Job Position
Job Requirements:
- Master-degree in physics, material science, electrical engineering, or similar.
- Knowledge in semiconductor devices and material science.
- Knowledge in micro-technology and micro-fabrication.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrating device integration of chemical vapour deposition (CVD) grown transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC) as transducer materials for pressure sensing.
- Demonstrating chip-scale TMDC integration.
- Benchmarking strain gauge factors for TMDC.
